←Back Krishna Godhania has been involved in the Martial Arts for more than 20 years, most of them have been dedicated towards practicing and researching the Filipino systems. Since 1992, he has visited the Philippines to train with and interview various Grandmasters and Masters of the art on a yearly basis. His principal Master is Grand master Abner Pasa - the President of the Institute of Filipino Martial Arts. In 1999, after 7 years of regular training in the Philippines, Krishna was awarded the Teacher's degree by the Institute in recognition of his technical expertise; later, that year was inducted into “Combat” magazine’s the Hall of Fame, in recognition of his efforts in promoting the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA).
| In 2003, Krishna was certified Full Instructor's in Jeet Kune Do Concepts by Sifu Paul Vunak. He continues teaching in private classes and regular classes in his academy in Warwick. Also he teaches in seminars on the FMA in Europe, North America and Australasia. He has also written columns for such Martial Arts magazines as Combat and Martial Arts Illustrated, also he contributes regularmente with the magazine Martial Arts Legends - USA, Inside Kung Fu, Budo International, and the magazine Fighters.
